Short description
My current consultancy activities focus on knowledge management and online facilitation. Activities are among others: the facilitation of dispersed communities of practice in the field of agriculture and natural resource management. - Study - I studied at the Institute for Media and Information Management (MIM) - Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Got my bachelor in Media, Information en Communication, 2003. During my study I specialized in knowledge and information management at organisational level.
- Work history - In 2002 I started working as an information manager at ETC Foundation, acting as a proactive liaison between ETC’s programmes and projects and external ICT experts, as well as a facilitator of online interaction between development practitioners (e.g. in online/teleconferences, e-mail discussion lists and web forums).
- Current work - My current consultancy activities focus on knowledge management and online facilitation. Activities are among others: the facilitation of dispersed communities of practice in the field of agriculture and natural resource management. I have a passion for the topic of green care or 'social farming' and for farmer-led documentation (e.g. through participatory video and similar approaches).
Next to my external consultancy / facilitation activities, I work at ETC as knowledge management officer, coordinate an internal learn-work trajectory on capacity development and am internal auditor regarding quality management at ETC.
