Registration

Invitation

People who are member of the Community of Practice Farming for Health, or those who are interested in becoming a member can join this workshop.

Number of participants

For this meeting, a maximum of 200 slots are available. We assume there will be enough place for all people that want to participate. Nevertheless we keep the following guidelines:

  • From now until 11 May a maximum of 20 participants per country applies. If this maximum is reached, applicants from that country will receive a note that they are put on a waiting list, but participation cannot be guaranteed.
  • From 11 May onwards participants will be allowed on a first come, first serve basis. As long as there are still places available, people can register. There will no longer be a maximum per country.

Once the maximum number of 200 participants is reached, the registration procedure will be closed and new registrants will be informed the conference is fully booked. Those interested may register for a waiting list, in case people cancel their participation. Note: if you registered but will no longer participate, please inform the organizers so others may take your place.

Registration form

To register, please fill out the following Registration form. This will take you approximately 5 to 10 minutes. The form provides some space for comments, but in case of questions, you can also contact the organizers of the meeting.

Workshops

Monday afternoon (25 May) is dedicated to workshops. As this is the gathering of a community of practice, the content and the design of a workshop can be very diverse, from purely academic (with paper presentations) to very practical (story telling, exchange of experiences, debate, ...). Feel free to submit your proposal!

If you want to convene a workshop, please fill out the Workshop form. The organizers will contact you shortly.

Presentations of activities

People that want to give a short presentation about results of their activities can use the Short presentation of Activities form. Due to time constraints, we will have to select a small number of proposed presentations, but for sure, in order to facilitate knowledge sharing, we will collect and we will deliver to all participants the abstracts we received. Deadline 11 May.

Project presentations

Participants can also submit Project presentations (in writing), like initiatives at grass roots level, farm activities related to social farming, etc. This form can be filled on a voluntary base, in English but also in other languages. (It is clear that the more used languages are better welcome. But in our opinion it is important to share knowledge during the CoP and sometimes the language can be a problem. This is why English is very welcome but, a presentation is still more important than the English.)

We will use the presented cases in order to give evidence to some interesting grass root project already during the conference and also to improve a database of cases about social farming across europe.
