I work at Harper Adams University College in Shropshire and for the last few years have been involved in care farming through the National Care Farming Initiative (UK). I help run a network in the UK for people interested in care farming and am also involved in raising the profile of care farm projects and their benefits. In 2007 I was awarded a Nuffield Farming Scholarship which enabled me to travel to a number of countries looking at different projects in action and talking to academics and others involved in care farming, green care or farming for health.
