Online Networking
Next to our mailing list and website, there is a range of tools online that we can use to link up with each other. Just to stay in touch on green care, know what other CoP members are doing, or to actually share our knowledge and information on social farming with a wider group of CoP members. This page gives you some tips for finding and connecting with others online.
Link up with other members of the Farming for Health website online!
Are you online?
If you are using 'Flickr' to share you photos, 'Delicious' to capture your bookmarks, if you keep a 'weblog', a 'Twitter' account, a 'Facebook' or LinkedIn profile:
Share your online whereabouts with others!
You can for example:
- Connect to others by finding them online and add them to your network (every tool mentioned above has such a function)
- Join the Farming for Health groups on Facebook (join) or LinkedIn (join).
- Make sure your personal profile page on this website points people in the right direction. For example this one (click the link and scroll down the page to see the examples).
Publish your latest info on this website
If you share your details with Dorine (see below) we can feed your content into this website to make it more dynamic and user managed. You don't have to go to this website and login to update it. Just use your own weblog or twitter and tell us what you are doing.
Support for starters
Contact Dorine Ruter for more information or comments and suggestions. You can also check the Web 2.0 sheets that were used at our conference Pisa. These give you some basic information to get started.
